As some of you may have heard on the grapevine, our Head Chef Ben has moved on to a new exciting opportunity, taking his hospitality career to the next level. The team here at The Green House Eatery wish him all the very best. We welcome Stuart onto the team as our new Head Food Guru, Stuart brings with him a truckload of knowledge and experience in the bar, restaurant and kitchen game.

With new blood on the kitchen team this brings new and refreshing ideas, come on down and try our new menu.

With the most recent wave of COVID restrictions and lockdowns we, like so many businesses have noticed a shift in trade. We have been using our time wisely though; creating new specials, brainstorming for Father’s Day, Melbourne Cup and Dunes Dinner events. You’ll also notice soon all the staff looking crisp in their new uniforms.

We are also preparing ourselves for a busy wedding season come September; recruiting and training new staff, servicing or replacing equipment; we recently ordered in some stunning new wine glasses and gave our customers the chance to buy our old ones and all the money (approx. $300) went into our resident RFS donation helmet. From cake knives to fresh white skirting for the bridal table to a lovely new timber arbor, we are looking into all those little things that give an extra special touch.

All the parents out there with little ones will be jumping for joy, a brand-new playground is on the way! Measurements have been taken and designs are being selected.
